Blake-Cliff Stables opened in 1995 on 425 acres of scenic land in Maiden, NC. This stunning stable focuses on Paso Fino Horses. "They're the smoothest horses in the world," says owner, George McKee. Blake-Cliff breeds, trains and sells Paso Finos with a focus on strong bloodlines. Since its inception, the stables have expanded in more ways than one. Jaime Sarmiento, the stables' trainer and manager, manages more than 40 Paso Fino horses. Jaime represents Blake-Cliff stables at Local and National Level Shows and also enjoys catering to the trail and pleasure rider as well. Leonor Iriarte, teaching riding lessons and coordinating summer camps, shares with her students a life long experience and a family background of 5 generations in Paso Finos.
